SUMMARY:Comics workshop with Viktorija Ežiukas
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday 4 June at 17.00, a creative comics workshop with Viktorija Ežiukas will take place at the Kalnupė branch of the Immanuel Kant Public Library of Klaipėda City Municipality (Kalnupės g. 13). The event is part of the Book Art Festival programme.\nDuring the workshop we will practise, playfully and cheerfully, how to create our own character; we will think up and draw its story ourselves and make a small comic book.\nViktorija Dambrauskaitė (who works under the name Viktorija Ežiukas) is an artist from Klaipėda with a distinctive artistic hand, who shares comical, colourful and heartfelt work.\nIn 2009 she graduated from the Department of Visual Design in Klaipėda at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, gaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees.\nSince 2005 she has worked as a designer at the Klaipėda Puppet Theatre.\nShe currently also works as a freelance illustrator of children’s books.\nThe number of places is limited.
