The Klaipėda Culture Communication Center (KCCC) organises art projects, introduces contemporary art trends and presents Klaipėda artists both at home and abroad. The KCCC disseminates cultural information, participates in the development of the creative sector, and initiates collaboration among art organisations in Klaipėda, Lithuania and abroad. The KCCC leads the activities of the Exhibition Hall, organises the International Art Residency, and administers a culture website for Lithuanian audiences – www.kulturpolis.lt
KCCC objectives:
- to organise international art projects in Lithuania and abroad.
- to strengthen the integration of Lithuanian artists at the international level.
- to build a sustainable network between cultural organisations and professional artists in Lithuania and abroad.
- to develop the international residency programme, with a primary focus on collaboration with local artists.
- to bring different social groups closer to art.
- to develop cross-sector artistic and educational programmes.
