Comics workshop with Viktorija Ežiukas

On Thursday 4 June at 17.00, a creative comics workshop with Viktorija Ežiukas will take place at the Kalnupė branch of the Immanuel Kant Public Library of Klaipėda City Municipality (Kalnupės g. 13). The event is part of the Book Art Festival programme.

During the workshop we will practise, playfully and cheerfully, how to create our own character; we will think up and draw its story ourselves and make a small comic book.

Viktorija Dambrauskaitė (who works under the name Viktorija Ežiukas) is an artist from Klaipėda with a distinctive artistic hand, who shares comical, colourful and heartfelt work.
In 2009 she graduated from the Department of Visual Design in Klaipėda at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, gaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Since 2005 she has worked as a designer at the Klaipėda Puppet Theatre.
She currently also works as a freelance illustrator of children’s books.
