DIY: clothes upcycling workshops

We are continuing our free Do It Yourself workshops and invite you to spend an enjoyable few hours giving your favourite garment a new lease of life! On 11, 17, 20, 24 and 27 August, 10.00–14.00, come to the workshops of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC) at Bažnyčių g. 4, 2nd floor (the Art Yard), and give your clothes a new life!

Bring a T-shirt, jeans, a jumper, a cloth bag or any other textile item — perhaps it is torn, stained or has simply gone out of favour, or perhaps it is a great favourite that deserves a new look. In the workshop you will be able to embroider it, decorate it with beads, draw on it with textile markers, print original linocut impressions and try other creative textile decorating techniques. Your garment can become the only one of its kind in the world!

All materials are provided.

Children under 12 are welcome to take part together with an accompanying adult.
