Launch of the book “Kęstutis Kasparavičius. KASPARATORIJA”

On Wednesday 20 May at 16.30, the launch of the book “Kęstutis Kasparavičius. KASPARATORIJA” with the artist Kęstutis Kasparavičius and the book’s compiler Jolita Liškevičienė will take place at the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC), Didžioji Vandens g. 2. The event is part of the Book Art Festival programme.

This is the first comprehensive survey of his work, with the artist and writer’s autobiography and the story of every book Kęstutis Kasparavičius has created. The book presents not only his illustrations but also the creator himself, how he became an artist and his sources of inspiration, the distinctive territory of Kasparavičius’s work and the laboratory in which his characters are “manufactured”.

The book was published by the Vilnius Graphic Art Centre.
