Lecture and creative workshop “From Searching for a Creative Path to Telling Stories through Animation”

On Thursday 7 May at 15.00, Eglė Davidavičė’s lecture and creative workshop “From Searching for a Creative Path to Telling Stories through Animation” will take place at the Klaipėda Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Daržų g. 18). Intended for senior schoolchildren and students. The event is part of the Book Art Festival programme.

During the meeting, the drawing enthusiast and animation director Eglė Davidavičė will share the challenges and successes she has experienced while searching for her own hand, experimenting, working alone with a static image, and assembling a team and directing an animated film.

During the workshop she will convey how to tell affecting stories, share her creative practices and invite participants to try them out, to experience them in their own way and, through experiment, to search for their own unique voice.
