Painting workshops for families “Our Family Constellation”

On Sundays 1, 8 and 15 February at 12.00, painting workshops for families will take place at the KCCC Exhibition Hall. We invite you to spend a creative Sunday afternoon and paint your own family constellation!

These workshops were inspired by Ernestas Žvaigždinas’s exhibition “Constellation of Seven Colours”, currently on display at the KCCC Exhibition Hall, and by the artist’s interesting technique — impasto painting — which you will get to know during the workshops. By spreading paint and modelling paste with a palette knife you will create unexpected shades and strokes, for which no knowledge of painting is needed, only a wish to create and to look for your family’s colours.

One workshop lasts 1 hour. Price — EUR 5 per person; tickets are available at the box office.

The workshops are intended for families with children. Materials are provided (palette knives, acrylics, canvas, modelling paste and so on). The workshops will be led by the KCCC educator and artist Jolanta Uktverytė.

Opening hours of the KCCC Exhibition Hall (Didžioji Vandens g. 2, Klaipėda): Wednesday–Sunday 11.00–19.00 (closed on public holidays). Photographs will be taken during the workshops. Please note that participants may appear in photographs and video recordings of the event published in various media.
