Robertas Nevecka’s lecture “Observing the World through Bad Illustrations”

On Friday 15 May at 15.30, Robertas Nevecka will give the lecture “Observing the World through Bad Illustrations” at the Klaipėda Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Daržų g. 18). The event is part of the Book Art Festival programme.

Robertas Nevecka is a film director, animator and a bit of an artist, originally from Klaipėda. His drawings of people working on film sets have spread around the world in strange ways — from being printed on decks of cards to tattoos in South America. Robertas will talk about observing one’s surroundings, drawing without knowing how to draw, and unconventional ways of distributing illustrations.

Registration is required: register here.

The event is free of charge.

The festival is organised by: the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC)
