Sand Radio: third edition with Gintaras Grajauskas and Kęstutis Bublys

You can hear the third edition of Sand Radio, together with the poet, playwright and musician Gintaras Grajauskas and the musician Kęstutis Bublys, on Thursday 16 July at 18.00 in the courtyard of the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC), Aukštoji g. 1.

“Sand Radio plays for everyone. Constantly. Every day and every night.”

What is Sand Radio? It is not a poetry reading. It is not a concert, and not even a performance. It is all of those at once, and something more. It is like a miniature piece of theatre involving a writer, a musician and every listener of Sand Radio. The latest, third edition of Sand Radio has been shown at the opening of the literature festival “Open Books” in Vilnius, at the Druskininkai Poetic Autumn, at the Kernagis bar in Vilnius, at the festival “Prozos krantas” in Klaipėda and elsewhere.

Gintaras Grajauskas is a poet, playwright and musician, and a laureate of the National Prize.
Kęstutis Bublys is a musician who played drums together with G. Grajauskas in the bands “Kontrabanda” and “Rokfeleriai”. He also composes electronic music.
