The LiteraTure Overthinkers’ Club AT THE ART
On Wednesday 17 June at 17.30, at the “Kultūrpolis” base (in the KCCC Art Yard, Daržų g. 10), we will continue the tradition and meet to draw inspiration surrounded by art, to write, and in each other’s company to share what we have written here and now, in the eye of the universe.
And what if…
If that opening of a sentence is familiar to you, then you are one of us and you belong to our overthinkers’ club. Only this club is not just any club — it is literary and “at the art”.
The most varied thoughts buzz around in your head until you set them free. And what could be better than writing them out? Of course, you can say them aloud — but what if we wrote them down? And what if we gave them an inspiration out of which a different, more harmonious form could emerge?
In this club we breathe art (we go to the Exhibition Hall or other art institutions to draw inspiration from exhibitions), and afterwards we write, and then we read. As one participant put it, “it is really rather good to have just half an hour to write out what is on your mind, instead of wandering in the boundless Amazon of thoughts”.
This time the meeting place is the KCCC Art Yard (Daržų g. 10).
The number of places is limited. Register now!
