Creative workshop “When the Stars Were Born” with Audronius Žemgulys

On Saturday 18 July at 13.00, the Art Yard of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC) (Daržų g. 10) hosts the creative workshop “When the Stars Were Born” with the photographer Audronius Žemgulys (Takas Kopose), taking us back to the legendary days of Hollywood.

Long before colour and digital filters, it was light that turned people into stars. Soft-focus lenses, subtle lighting and a calm gaze created portraits that live on for decades.

In this workshop we will photograph using the wet collodion technique with special soft-focus lenses. Every participant will become the hero of their own film, and the image born on aluminium or glass will recall the legendary studio portraits of Hollywood’s golden age.
