VDA “Graduation Show 2025” — Klaipėda

This year, the graduation show of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) Klaipėda Faculty symbolically revolves around the number three: in three distinct spaces of the KCCC Exhibition Hall, graduates from three study programs – Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Visual Design – present their final projects.

The exhibition showcases both bachelor’s and master’s final projects that explore timely and relevant themes – from artificial intelligence and the shaping of a sense of place to board game designs and immersive spatial installations.

The bachelor’s projects are visually expressive, created over an intensive four-month period that combines theoretical research with creative practice. Some of them are real-life projects already planned for implementation. In contrast, the master’s works are more conceptual – the culmination of two years of study, in-depth research, and extended theoretical reflection.

The exhibition is part of the national VDA graduation showcase, taking place in Vilnius, Kaunas, Telšiai, and Klaipėda, and is included in the official “Design Week 2025” program.

“Every ending marks a new beginning. On the day the doors of the Vilnius Academy of Arts close, others open – leading into prestigious galleries, museums, major architecture and design studios, restoration workshops, editorial offices of art journals, and research institutes for art and science. The number of paths and possibilities equals the number of our graduates,” notes VDA Rector, Prof. Ieva Skauronė.

The show is curated by Assoc. Prof. Martynas Lapas, Head of the Graphic Design program at the VDA Klaipėda Faculty.

The exhibition is open 3–14 June, Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00–19:00, at the KCCC Exhibition Hall, Didžioji Vandens g. 2, Klaipėda.
