Creative workshop with the painter Andrius Zakarauskas

On Saturday 11 July at 12.00, a creative workshop with the artist and professional painter Andrius Zakarauskas will take place in the courtyard of the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Culture Communication Centre (KCCC), Aukštoji g. 1.

During the meeting, Andrius will present examples of his work, discuss various ways of reading and interpreting them, and share his creative experience. Participants will become acquainted with the creative methods used to construct images and shape artistic ideas.

In the practical part, participants will be invited to reconstruct the artist’s works on the principle of collage, adding to them, transforming them and creating new interpretations. This process will encourage a creative dialogue with existing works and make it possible to look for unexpected meanings and individual forms of artistic expression.

The aim of the workshop is to broaden participants’ ability to analyse and interpret images, to develop visual thinking and to encourage independent creative expression through their own interpretations.
